I think it has become a tradition at our house, that when it rains, the kids get outside and enjoy it. The exceptions , of course, are during severe weather warnings or nearly constant lightning. But a good heavy rain is cause for a celebration. This year, particularly, we rejoice in the rain for we have been in the midst of a drought for so long.

Rachelle, Abbie, Hayley Wagner and Matthew dance in the gutters.

Laying down in the stream --- wonder what the neighbors are thinking?

Who needs a puddle to jump in? It's all puddle!

Soaked through and proud of it -- my Real American child! Isn't it sad to think that some children don't get to enjoy life's simplest pleasures anymore?

Rachelle looks just like Erinn when she was that age! It looks like they had a blast!
SHE DOES LOOK LIKE ERINN!!! That looks like so much fun! When Kennedy gets older she is going to be so excited to go to grandmas so that she can play outside in the rain. She hardly even knows what it is. It hasn't rained here in months.
How fun! Luckily we get warm rain in Georgia! That is the best rain to play in.
