A CHRISTMAS CAROL!

Here finally are a few pictures from the latest CCT show, "A Christmas Carol". They are mixed up -- some from backstage, some from cast parties. It's a fun bunch of kids and adults to work with.
This was during a rehearsal where I had brought the kids along, including Athena, whom everyone adored.
This was in the civic center, in our 4th floor dressing room, where Steve came to visit us before one of the performances.

Here is the ghost of Jacob Marley, played by Anthony Brinkley.
Matthew got along great with the kids in the cast, especially the girls.

Mike and Austin set the example for him.

Mike, dressed as the father of young Ebenezer Scrooge. This is one of Mike's four costumes in the show.
These are snapshots from the camera of Erica Pierno, the young lady in the red hat in the picture above. She is so outgoing and friendly she made all the younger kids and myself feel right at home among the CCT cast.(Thanks , Erica!) This picture was taken after the last performance when we had packed up everything in our 4th floor dressing room.

This one may have been at a cast party (there were several).
Here are Abbie and Rachelle with the two other younger girls in the cast. Rachelle and Matthew were cast as the children of Scrooge's nephew, Fred Anderson. Abbie and the other girls were children in the Cratchit family.

Mike had the major part of being "Mr. Fezziwig" (they added a curly moustachio to his appearance later). He was also a banker, and a gravedigger.
Sorry this blog is a little scrambled -- I am not good at adding in this many photos.

WOW, so should we ask what YOU do in YOUR spare time??? Were you stage manager or prop person?
How fun for the kids to have stage experience!!
What's this Christmas looking like for you all? In Atlanta or AZ this year? J'net

The play was amazing and I'm sooooo glad we were able to make it in time to see them ALL perform. Hopefully this is just the beginning for all of them. Good job Mom for making sure everyone got to the rehearsals and plays on time! You're so good!
