March 25th -- Steve and I had flown to the other side of the U.S. to attend the Granite Bay reception hosted by Jake's California family. It was a rainy, blustery day, but the weather cleared
just in time for the lovely occasion. To accent the Hawaiian theme, fresh flower leis had been flown in for the bride and groom. Jim and DeeAnn Haworth drove up from the Los Angeles area with their baby Lucy to attend. At the end of the party, we were all entertained by a violin concert featuring Jake and almost all of his amazingly talented family.
