Ah! Mother's Day! the smell of flowers, paper greeting cards, homemade treasures and the sound of --BBBBRRRRIIIINNNNNGGGG! Elder Chesnut calling home from Uruguay Sunday evening! The whole bunch of us gathered around the speakerphone and each took a turn (no, that would be too orderly for us) well, we all got to speak to Andy some, and we listened alot to hear what Uruguay is like, the people he is meeting and teaching, and how much he is changing. Then. after almost an hour and a half, we managed to complete the process of saying goodbye, which isn't easy when you know you won't hear his voice again for seven months. We love him so much, and miss him terribly, but we are glad and grateful that he is serving the Lord in this way.
